Discovering/finding my friends and contacts is the most useful part of having an app like this for me. I can't use my FB or Google Contacts to see who else is already on this app, or send invites to folks who aren't. I'd love to do that.

Please add start and end dates to past trips and add counters to show the number of days spent in each country, in Europe and outside the US. This would allow us to make sure we are following each jurisdiction’s regulations on taxes and visas.

Notifications for home town

If someone adds a future trip with the city/ county that I'm living in, will we get notified? Does it count as an "on going trip"? Would be nice!

So I can see a work out where my friends are by using the map. Why can’t I just see a list of all my friends trips ordered by most recent to ending furthest away?

Remove visited country from wishlist

Is the expected behavior to automatically remove a country from my wishlist, if I recently completed a trip there? Trip dets were added and it now marks the country as visited in the map, but it has not removed it from wishlist. Should I remove it manually?

Can’t add Hong Kong

I would to see some sort of badges/icons for either users that are “experts” in a certain city, or also could be gamified, like giving badges for users who have visited all countries in Europe or something similar

Add tentative dates to wishlist

As a user, I’d like to include date range(s) for wishlist items. A tagging system would be cool too. For example, adding the tag of “in the area” + date range could help move along plans with other users.

Adding Countries to Wishlist

overall there should be an easier way to add counties to wishlist. Currently we have to add counties one by one. And after we add one country to wishlist, we need to delete the content of the previous add when the text box should be cleared after we add the country to wishlist.

App didn't update my location or trip status.

When I click on the percentage of countries I visited, would be cool if we could see some sort of more detailed stats. Also would be a nice way to understand how many countries do you consider for this calculation as many people strive to check all countries but some count 194/195/197.. Also, I couldn't find all the micro countries I intended to find

When I'm on any tab that's not the profile screen it would be nice if when I pressed my phone's back button if it would take me to the profile screen instead of closing the app. This also increases user retention as they have to press back twice to exit ;)

Variations of trips

Tentative trips for planning I’d get use out of a feature where I can add a “pending” trip — not sure on phrasing. This would be tentative dates with a specific country or location. Main example being, I’m free for July thinking near Italy and would love for anyone to join. With that, the ability to give some indication that “hey, I would love for others to join me”. Thinking a badge in the Upcoming Trip cell that makes it obvious or even a message that gets sent to my friends who don’t have plans on those dates yet. An addition to that feature would be where you can add specific people to a tentative trip. For example, if I want to do an expert level hike, I may only want to ask friends who are expert hikers to join me. (Might be too specific and don’t necessarily think it’s worth building this part anytime soon.) Previous trips Think it would be nice if past trips were moved to a small button on the profile screen that opens a full list.

Kosovo cannot be added, nor does it update the location while in Kosovo, or add cities within Kosovo as trips. Please recognize Kosovo as a country 😇

annoying to sign up for a web app to give feedback

i almost didn’t bother giving feedback at all becuse the process of giving feedback was a lot of friction. i almost never do this unless it’s easily sent through the app or have some inapp submission like using intercom or something.
